The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), announced $102 million in New Access Points awards to expand the Health Center Program. The funding will support 158 new and existing health centers,

establish 415 new service sites, and expand access to primary care for nearly one million people nationwide.

The investment will help expand access to primary care, preventive services, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and other essential services, including in medically underserved and rural communities. HRSA-funded health centers currently serve more than 32 million people across over 16,000 service sites nationwide.
